Robert Budny

Rob Budny is VP of Reliability Engineering at Ensemble Energy, a provider of advanced data analytics to the energy industry. Rob is a mechanical engineer with over 20 years of industrial experience, 13 of which are in the wind industry. Rob spent 8 years leading the mechanical engineering function at a utility scale turbine OEM, and is lead instructor for the AGMA gearbox failure analysis seminar.

Dr. Sandeep Gupta

Chief Executive Officer, Ensemble Energy

Dr. Sandeep Gupta is the CEO of Ensemble Energy, a provider of an advanced analytics platform for wind farms developed by energy experts. Dr. Gupta has over 15 years of experience in the wind industry. His expertise ranges from wind turbine controls, loads calculation, site suitability, power performance analysis, reliability analysis, and application of machine learning for wind farms. Dr. Gupta led the Loads Engineering function at Clipper Windpower from 2006 through 2013. He has been working with owner/operators to improve the wind farm performance and reliability since 2013. He received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park and Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in India.
