Michaël Roberge has 11 years of experience in siting, permitting, and renewable energy development in North America, while holding several positions at DNV GL, including the Head of Section for Environmental and Permitting Services, from 2017 to 2019. He was responsible for business development and managing a team of 20 biologists, GIS specialists, land-use planners, and engineers who provided comprehensive permitting services to customers in Canada and the United States. His career focuses on aiding renewable energy developers in navigating many complex siting, environmental, and permitting environments. It reflects his passion for sustainable development and his dedication to increasing the success rate of projects through his skills in strategic permitting and planning, along with his training in GIS and environmental sciences.  He recently founded PEG Strategy, where he helps wind, solar, storage, and RNG developers find promising sites, permit projects, and avoid potential pitfalls, from the early stage development to operation compliance with strategy and technology.

Julie oversees GroundWork's data quality program for solar resource assessment. Her expertise ranges from MET system configuration through real-time data collection and monitoring to data delivery and reporting. Julie has an extensive background at the intersection of science and engineering. She holds a BS in Environmental Science and a MS in Plant Science. Her professional pursuits range from bench-scale laboratory research to field-scale implementation of engineered remediation solutions.
